Vinicius Junior wins this year’s Best FIFA Men’s Player Award
Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid and Aitana Bonmati of Barcelona have both claimed the prestigious Best FIFA Player awards for 2023. The announcement was made during a ceremony held at the Aspire Academy in Doha, Qatar. The ninth edition of The Best FIFA Football Awards is to be held in Doha today, with several accolades set to be handed out.

38th National Games to be Held in Uttarakhand
The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has chosen Uttarakhand as the host for the 38th Summer National Games, scheduled to take place from 28th January to 14th February 2025. This announcement marks a significant achievement for the state, as it will be hosting the prestigious event for the first time, followed by the upcoming Winter Games, which will be held outside Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh for the first time.
The mascot, named “Mauli,” is inspired by the Monal, the state bird of Uttarakhand, symbolizing the region’s uniqueness and encouraging young athletes to aim high
